Medical Thinking


Epistemology is the investigation of what distinguishes justified belief from opinion. Frankly, the investigation doesn’t necessarily provide us with certainty, but its a start.

This week we are examining different ideas of what justifies facts from opinion through the lens of medicine. We are utilizing a chapter from a tour de force title “Humanizing Modern Medicine: An Introductory Philosophy of Medicine  by James A. Marcum.
