African Philosophy

Some say Philosophy is done through reflective properties of mind in the context of reason and culture. Other schools of thought state that Philosophy is a set of standards, codes, and customs by recognized names in Philosophy.

This week we’ll consider the above thought through an important text by Bruce B. Janz. In particular, how concepts of what Philosophy is (or is not) provide the definition of Philosophy, and those who perform it accordingly. This is an important consideration and we’ll explore this and the very definition of African Philosophy at the same time. A good time should be had by all.
